The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites qualified companies to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming tender exercise for Renovation of UN Environment - Mediterranean Action Plan (UNEP/MAP) office in Athens, Greece A detailed Terms of Reference shall be included in the solicitation documents that will be issued after this EOI is closed. Objetive: The overall objective of the project is to give the office a fresh look and conribute to a safer working environment for UNEP staff in Athens, Greece. Summary of the Scope of Works: The office building constructed in the 1960's has five floors of approximately 1000 sq.m. The Office space is at the 2nd level. The building is a concrete frame structure currently divided into offices by brick walls, plasterboard, glass and wood covered partitions. The works consists of of the folowing:•Refurbishment of existing internal walls/ partition demolition, soft strip out and disposal•Construction on new walls and partitions including wall finishes.•Installation of doors including ironmongery.•Installation of new floor and ceiling finishes.•Construction and installation of custom-made carpentry fittings •Installation/adjustments of mechanical and electrical systems including internal firefighting, ICT equipment and security installations, piping and sewage connections.•Renovation of bathrooms and kitchen areas•Painting works
