Description : I. RATIONALE
Owing to its geographical location, Santa Ana, Cagayan is potentially at risk to 10 different hazards, plus tsunami should there be a local earthquake. It is on this note that the MDRRMC must be well-informed and well-verse d for the thematic area: disaster response of which, the Incident Comman System (ICS) is a response coordinating mechanism plus the cluster approach. To fascilitae the inoperability of these entities is to underscore the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
The two-day ICS Executive Training Course shall contain five modules: 1. Introduction to ICS; 2. ICS Organization; 3. ICS Facilities; 4. Managing Planned events and Incidents and 5. Common Responsibilities. Teaching-learning methodologies inludes interactive learning discussion, audio-video presentation and structures learning exercises. Relative thereto, the said training shall be conducted in Tuguegarao City.
