Concession, for 30 years, of the Porto (Campanha)-Oia high-speed line, with two phases: Development, with 5 years, for conception, design, construction and financing of the infrastructure; Availability, with 25 years, for maintenance and availability of assets. It is 71 km long, double trackand 1668 mm gauge for passengers and a maximum speed of 300 km/h, aiming for a direct Porto-Lisbon journey time of close to 1h15. It includes a road-rail bridge over the Douro, connections to the Northern Line, in Canelas, 17 km long, the adaptation of Campanha Station, a new station in SAntonio Ovidio, Vila Nova de Gaia, underground, and a substation in Estarreja. Does not include maintenance of the passenger building, interface and parking of the Campanha and Santo Ovidio stations, the track and catenary of the Campanha Station, the non-structural parts of the road deck of the bridge.over the Douro and the AMVs to be installed on the Northern Line, which transit to IP upon receipt.
The works included in the Contract will be the subject of an application for the 2023 Call of the Connecting Europe Facility for Transport 2 (CEF 2) Program.
