Electric meters for intelligent metering system with EDGE/GPRS modem (intelligent metering systems communicating via GSM network), further on in the text only "IMS electric meters" in the appropriate grammatical form. IMS electricity meters will communicate with the superior system using an EDGE/GPRS modem in the form of an exchangeexternal module or internal built-in modem in terms of DLMS/COSEM standards. The subject of the contract will also be the supply of configuration software for the IMS electricity meter in question, which will enable its full configuration as well as data reading via GSM network or optical head.
