The scope of works includes the design and installation of two underground fuel pipelines at the refueling facility within Council-s works depot in Cessnock. The pipelines will replace two existing diesel suction lines. The works also include removal of an abandoned underground storage tank.The works must comply with the Protection of the Environment Operations (Underground Petroleum Storage Systems) Regulation 2019 and with requirements of the Code of Practice Demolition Work from Safework NSW.The works also include the engagement of an Environmental Consultant to report on decommissioning works.
