Tenders are invited for Qualitative research on ID in Mozambqiue
The World Bank-s Identification for Development (ID4D) Initiative and Digital Governance and Economy Project (EDGE) task team are seeking to contract a firm to carry out qualitative research to understand experiences; attitudes; and behavior of people towards the Civil Registration and Civil Identification Systems in Mozambique; with the goal of meaningfully informing the design of the systems and its public engagement strategy. The research must use a combination of qualitative research methods; including FGDs; KIIs (with experts and end-users); and human centered design approaches (e.g.; journeys maps; card sorting; etc.).The research should cover a population of 150-200 people across 3-5 locations. The sample population should represent a useful cross-section of Mozambique society. The firm will analyze the data collected using a coding protocol and qualitative research software. The outputs of the assignment are an Inception Report; research design and instruments; pilot implementation report; final report and presentation; photo/video recordings; and raw data.
