Description

This is a Request For Information - This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. No contract will be awarded as a result of this Sources Sought announcement. The United States Geological Survey (USGS), Office of Acquisition and Grants (OAG) is soliciting information from qualified sources; the results of this announcement will be evaluated to determine if there are businesses capable of performing the proposed work.The USGS, OAG seeks responses from vendors who can provide a radio system compatible with Cambium PTP700 radios. The USGS is seeking 4 radio pairs (8 radios total) for use in both the 5.8 GHz unlicensed ISM band and the 4.40-4.94 NTIA licensed band in accordance with the specifications document (attached, 2 pages). In addition to the following requirements, the radio used for this authorization must be pre-approved for use by the NTIA in the 4.40-4.94 GHz band. This point-to-point radio system shall also include all necessary cabling, surge protection, and any necessary mounting hardware.
