DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The purpose of the project is to furnish all plant, labor, equipment, material and transportation necessary to perform maintenance and repair work on the existing railroad network in Supply & Maintenance Area and LTA-ASA at DMC-USAG Italy. Ordinary maintenance will be performed on yearly basis while the repair work shall be requested when necessary with the issue of Task Orders.
METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This is a Request for Proposal resulting in an Indefinite-Quantity Type Contracts Requirements type contract.
ISSUANCE OF SOLICITATION: 14 July 2023.
RESPONSE DATE: 28 August 2023, 12:00 PM “noon” (Local time, Rome, Italy) (Due-in date for the submittal of offer).
PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The Performance Period will be the following: 01 October 2023 - 30 September 2028
WORK MAGNITUDE: Between $1, 000, 000.00 (Euro 1, 065, 984.44) and $5, 000, 000 (Euro 5, 329, 922.18)
WORK CATEGORY: SOA Category OS29 Classification III (or higher) or Category OG3 Classification IV “in corso di validita- certificante la qualificazione per prestazione, progettazione e costruzione” (or higher). Sub-contracting is allowed up to 85% of the work. However, prime contractor must possess the required SOA. The name of the prime contractor shall be indicated in the SOA.
FUNDING: Funds will be made available with each individual Task Order issued.
SITE VISIT: A site visit will be held on 02 August 2023, 09:00 hrs. The meeting point will be at Gate #27 (Depot Gate), Via Aurelia, Tombolo (Pisa).
