Description : The IESO has initiated a project that will deliver foundational changes in how transmission limits are determined and used to operate the electricity grid in Ontario. This RFP intends to select one or two Service Provider(s) to deliver the following: A Real-Time Limit Validation Platform (the “Platform”) that enables the IESO to develop learning algorithms, such as machine learning and instance-based-learning, and includes features for data collection, data processing, feature engineering, data labelling, model design, model training & optimization, in addition to endpoint deployment and monitoring. The Service Provider should have expertise in real-time data analytics and machine learning to provide the following in a production environment: - Services to build and implement the Platform and integrate the Platform with other IESO systems; - Licensing & support for any third-party software required to run the Platform and/or to integrate the Platform with other IESO systems; and - Services to enhance, maintain and support the Platform and its integrations with other IESO systems.
