The GSI experiment hall (EH) is to be extensively renovated. The building was built in 1971/72

. The experiment hall is designed as a steel hall on a massively built basement. It has the dimensions of 57.85m length and 44.00m width. The first height isThe building is 13.43m high 14.03m and eaves side. OKFFB basement (level 0) is located at a height of -3.50m below OK terrain.

In the basement there are almost all technical supply and disposal facilities that converted or renewed as part of this construction measureare to be.

On the ground floor there are areas that are partly separated with reinforced concrete blocks for radiation protection reasons. A maintenance passage is on the level of the 1st top floor (level 2) (Appendix 8). This is located at an altitude of +5.40m height.

The new ventilation system is intended to replace a beam and operating approval-relevant sub-complex to ventilate the experiment hall (EH). The existing system is part of the RLT system LA24, which is already defective and in the course of the
