Three radiation devices are currently underway in the Magdeburg House 23 University Clinic. The patient care is thus secured to such an extent that the 2nd linear accelerator can be replaced.
This construction measure is the exchange of linear accelerator 2 in the Magdeburg University Clinic in House 23 and the necessary upgrading of the structural and technical systems.
The work takes place in the stock, the transport times and paths are to be coordinated with the local construction surveillance and the building owner representation in good time before the start of the work.
The areas of the ventilation device, which is renewed and the changing room, which are supplemented with a shower, are affected by the construction work. The sanitary area is redesigned in level 1. A new base plate is produced in the bunker and a radiation protection gate is installed instead of the existing labyrinth access. Furthermore, the facade is provided with thermal insulation and the adjacent bunker of the Linac 1 is connected to the rain drainage.
