The current registration platform was procured and put into operation in 2008 as part of an invitation process. Since then, the software has been further developed and expanded. The frontend is developed in Java Server Faces (JSF), which has not been further developed since 2013 (version 2.2). Further developments in the frontend of the registration platform were carried out with JSF after 2013 until today. Since it is unclear how long the support based on JSF can still be guaranteed, a change in technology for the entire frontend is imperative. For this reason, SwissUniversities, with the present tender, seeks a reliable and efficient partner who is able to provide the required services, in particular to implement the requested solution in accordance with requirements and thus contribute to a corresponding maximum increase in efficiency.
