Rehabilitation for Educational Tv Broadcast Channel of the Palestinian Ministry of Education
The civil work for the proposed design includes but not limited to; demolishing, rebuilding, closing windows, and door reposition. It is the responsibility of the bidder to demolish, remove the rubble, rebuild walls, paint walls, close windows, change door locations and any additional civil work that appears and need to be accomplished while progressing the project.

1.Window 1 (win.01)
Close the window between the studio and the control room, must meet the soundproofing requirements.

2.Window 2-8
(Win.02-Win.08)
Close all windows without affecting the exterior view of the building, window 4 and window 5 already closed but must be examined to meet the soundproofing requirements.

3.Wall (1) & (2)
Must be demolished and rebuilt as expected in Figure 1-2 (See Annex 1)

4.Wall (3)
Must be examined to meet the soundproofing requirements, it preferred to demolish and rebuilt it.

5.Door (1-3)
Re-locate the doors to fit the new design as specified in Figure 1-2. (See Annex1)

There is air-conditioning, but the winning bidder will be responsible for ensuring the studio, studio control room and CAR are sufficiently ventilated and air-conditioned to ensure the temperature of each room does not exceed 22°C. Therefore, the supplier must specify if any of additional air conditioning or ventilation is required. In addition, the air-conditioning of studio room must meet with noise rating ratio with maximum acceptable noise rating as (NR 25) which defined by ISO to be suitable for broadcast and studio production environments, noise rating of NR 20 will be preferred, Table 1-2 define the acceptable maximum sound pressure levels (dB) for noise rating curve (NR 25) & (NR 20) (See Annex 1)

1. Studio and studio control room professional soundproofing and acoustic treatment work
It is the bidder responsibility to remove the existing studio soundproofing and replace the soundproofing with a new professional soundproofing system with the minimum requirements as follow:
- The new soundproofing system must cover studio exterior walls, two side walls (studio - studio control room, studio- corridor & CAR room) and studio door.
- Soundproofing also must be installed on studio control room exterior wall, two side walls (control room- water closet, and control room-corridor) and the door of control room.
- Ceiling baffling or other soundproofing system must be installed near the walls of the studio to minimize noise travelling from the ceiling.
- The noise level in the studio should not exceed 30 dB(A), or with a noise rating not greater than (NR 20) as mentioned before. In addition, the soundproofing system must absorb at least 60dB of exterior sound.

The expected accomplished work will equal or equivalent to (room inside a room) solution that ensures the maximum level of sound absorption, Figure 1-5 provide a top view for the expected solution (See Annex 1)

The exterior wall stud will be designed in a manner that can carry heavy weights i.e., video wall mounting system.
- It is preferred to include a layer of heat/fire protection in the provided solution.
- It is the bidder responsibility to provide a solution to make cables accessible to the studio from studio control room and central apparatus room without affecting the soundproofing solution.
- Two solid doors are expected for studio room with sweep seal assembly in all edges for each door, one of the doors will be mounted on the interior wall and the other to the exterior wall with air space between them.

- upvc conduits behind gypsum boards and above false ceiling must be fire-resistance. ceiling installations via cable ladders.
- 600v n2xy cables with all required accessories for proper installation and operation, cable lugs, ties.... etc.

complete network points, the solution must include cat7a s/ftp ul detwiler, 3m or any equivalent cables and terminal females, conduits(fire-resistance) and patch panels.

tv satellite points
complete solution that includes at least 5xrg-11 cables from the roof (dish locations) to car room, f-type connectors with 75-ohm, f-type patch panel located in central apparatus room where the signal level at the output of the patch panel should be designed to have minimum signal level between 70-80db.

6.floor treatment for tv studio, studio control room, and car (optional)
a. raised floor for car and studio control room
it is the bidder responsibility to provide a raised floor solution for central apparatus room and studio control room. this raised floor must not exceed 15cm from the outer side. the proposed solution must meet the requirements: anti-static raised floor, preserve cooling and air flow inside each room, ability to install cable tray and cable management that is adequate to accommodate interconnecting cables and power distributions.
the expected solution must be a heavy duty (stringer raised floors) which contain the panels, stranger net, the vertical posts (pedestal), and flooring finishes. for safety requirement, stringers must be connected to building reference ground. figure 1-4 provides a conceptual design for the expected solution. (see annex 1)

b. tv studio flooring system
a professional tv studio floor that complements the studio environment. with the minimum requirement as follows:
- ideal for working with studio lighting.
- solid and ensuring a continues floor surface that smooth camera roll.
- mitigate noise transmission.
- anti-static floor
- permanent installation with long standing.
- easily maintained and cleaned.
