The United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter referred to as UNON), on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Syria Programme, is inviting interested vendors to submit an Expression of Interest for the anticipated solicitation exercise to establish a contract forthe rehabilitation of a series of public spaces and the irrigation canal along the green corridor in Al-Khaldiyeh and Al-Qousor neighborhoods in Homs city, Syria.The project involves the rehabilitation of a series of public spaces and the irrigation canal to increase the use of open spaces for health, socio-economic, and environmental purposes, and to improve public safety and minimize life-threatening hazards to the residents, especially children, along the irrigation canal crossing the city of Homs and its direct surroundings.The proposed target locations include:1. Omar al Batsh Garden2. IbnHazm Garden3. Traffic Garden4. Mukhtar Garden5. Ash-Shaap Garden6. Malahi City Garden7. The irrigation canal in the targeted neighborhoods (Qusour Neighborhood and Khaldiyeh Neighborhood).The scope of work includes the following:1. Rehabilitation of park fencing, gates, and other perimeterboundaries.2. Repair and provision of park benches.3. Repair and provision of solar lighting.4.
