Quotation are invited for Rehabilitation of the Shepherds- Street in Beit Sahour to be More Pedestrian Friendly in Cooperation with Beit Sahour Municipality

The Main Objective of the Assignment:

The UN-Habitat Palestine office and the Ministry of Local Government under the HAYA Joint Programme in cooperation with Beit Sahour municipality are planning to build on the findings of the conducted city-wide and site specific public space assessments and to work with eligible, registered contractors to implement the developed safe and inclusive public space design to rehabilitate a segment of the Shepherds- street to be a safe and inclusive space for pedestrians, fostering the different activities at different times during the day.

Contractor-s Responsibilities and Scope of Work:

The contractor is required to implement the assignment of the Rehabilitation of the Shepherds- Street in the city of Beit Sahour to be more pedestrian friendly as per the items detailed in the provided BoQs and according to the architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical shop drawings and details. The contractor will liaise with Beit Sahour municipality, the design firm and HAYA JP team as they will be supervising the implementation and assuring that all the deliverables are produced to the standard of performance.

The contractor is required to perform the assignment within a timeframe of 60 calendar days.

The contractor is required to submit up to date shop drawings and safety plan at the begging of the assignment, and to submit as built drawings after the final submission of works is approved by the supervision team.
