Description : This PIN is to inform the supply chain that Open Nuclear with the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking technology which will remotely characterise a variety of containers that contain uranium bearing residues and wastes and that the technology will determine the physical, chemical and isotropic composition of the container contents.Interested technology providers should complete and submit an Open Nuclear application via the Open Nuclear website (https://opennuclear.nnlinnovation.wazoku.com). The challenge is open to any organisation who feel they can meet the technical requirements. The closing date for applications will be the 26 March 2024.Interested organisations should note that the issue of this PIN may not result in a full procurement exercise being conducted. The outcome of the Open Nuclear challenge will determine whether a full procurement exercise will follow.
