Description: Remote sensing-based forest stand interpretation in 22 inventory areas in mainland Finland. In six of these (6) areas, the work also includes the measurement of reference test areas.
The interpretation of the forest is based on laser scanning, aerial photographs and field measurements. The customer provides the source materials for the interpretation of the trees. Test plot measurement data in six (6) areas will be provided by the tenderer / supplier.
This acquisition includes stand interpretations in all areas and plot measurements in six (6) areas. The gross area of one inventory area is 2, 000-4, 000 km2. The total gross area of all areas is about 60, 000 km2.
