Description
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) South Carolina Water Science Center has a requirement to remove existing elevated platform and two access ladders from 5.5 ft diameter concrete stilling well and replace elevated platform with supplied platform and 28 ft fixed ladder with cage and security screen to allow ground level access up to the elevated platform at their facility located at 1425 West US 74 Hwy in Rockingham, NC. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for this installation. However, the USGS will supply the stainless-steel wedge anchors, replacement ladder, Security Screen for the bottom portion of the fixed ladder to prevent unauthorized access, and the work platform. The project must be completed within 30 days of the notice to proceed.There are no option periods.Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0123Q0022 will be issued on or about 11/21/2022 with written quotes due on or about 12/23/2022. See provision 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) in Section L of the solicitation for information on the site visit including the USGS point of contact.This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 236220. The size standard is $39.50 million.The magnitude of construction is less than $25, 000.A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be awarded the contract.All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
