Quotations must be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to: Secretary, Limited Tenders Committee. The closing date and tender number should be clearly written on the envelope. Tenders must be submitted at: Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA”, Limited Tenders Committee, KAHRAMAA Building No. (2), 15th Floor, Dafna Area - Doha, State of Qatar.
This tender is intended to assess the feasibility for installing meteorological sensors or contract third-party services for the meteorological data focused on energy generation & to define the most appropriate algorithm and application (artificial intelligence, neural networks, etc.) for forecasting renewable energy. The Study shall also include the following: a) The required static data of any new production project like location, type, capacity etc. b) The solutions of receiving the actual energy production and solutions to estimate in case of absent of the meters. c) Evaluating of possibility to use full automated methods in transferring the data, static or dynamic, and to find alternate methods in case of difficulties. d) The evaluation shall include all distributed generation large scale, medium scall and small scale, also shall include deferent types of renewable energy usage like electric vehicle chargers. e) To find solutions for using weather signals even from websites or weather stations f) Reviewing Kahramaa technical standards for the connection of solar PV systems and give recommendations for modifying if required to facilitate usage of renewable energy forecast software. g) Determine the suitable retention period for historical data based on worldwide practices. h) Any other factor might affect the outcome of the project.
