EcoWerf wishes to renew two biofilters on the site. EcoWerf has a fermentation installation with after -composting for the processing of the selectively collected organic registration area and third parties. The hall air of both the reception/pre -treatment hall and the composting hall is purified via biofilters: one biofilter for the lobby and four biofilters for the composting hall. The biofilter for the reception/pre -treatment hall was recently built and hired. In the composting hall, 50, 000 tons of GFT are processed into compost annually. The hall air of the composting hall has a temperature between 35 and 45 ° C, a relative humidity of 100% and contains, among other things, large quantities of ammonia (0-300 ppm), CO2 and odor components. The material to be processed has already undergone an important biodegradation due to the prior fermentation step and has been reduced in volume.
