Rental of Two-Way Radio Equipment and related Technical Support Services for a number of special events in the National Capital Region on an “as and when” required basis. It is intended to result in the issuance of a Standing Offer for an initial period lasting until, April 30, 2025, plus two (2), additional one (1) year irrevocable option periods allowing Canada to extend the term of the Standing Offer.
MANDATORY CRITERION 1/4
The proposed two-way radio network must respond to the following technical requirements:
a) Have Digital (UHF) frequency
b) Provide dedicated frequencies exclusively available to PCH users.
c) Accommodate at least a minimum of 500 talk groups simultaneously. The system must permit each talk group to operate independently of the other talk groups and it must permit the talk groups to communicate with each other.
d) Be capable of being programmed so that different talk groups can be on different portable radios and/or mobile base station units.
e) Be capable of accommodating between 6 and 250 portable radios.
MANDATORY CRITERION 2/4
The Offeror must demonstrate that the two-way radio network that they are proposing with their offer covers the entire National Capital Region by providing a detailed map showing the range of the network`s minimum coverage.
