Alvarado, email: ana.alvarado@va.gov.This requirement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) has a requirement to provide construction services to replace self-closing doors at MICU and CCU. The contractor shall provide and install twenty-six (26) ICU doors to be installed in MICU and CCU area. Remove existing doors and frames to be replaced by new doors in same location. Contractor to perform any adjustments (if needed) to install new doors to be properly secured and anchored to building structure. The contractor is responsible to visit the site and take final measurements for each existing door and frame to ensure fitment; shop drawings must be provided. This shop drawing must provide the specification of all required hardware for VA approval. Contractor to properly dispose doors removed from unit. The period of performance is 140 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP), including Government reviews and construction. The magnitude of construction is between $250, 000 and $500, 000. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 15, 2024. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the SAM website at https://sam.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.GOV). Important Notice: Prior to submitting a proposal under SDVOSB set-aside solicitation, offerors must be listed as certified in the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov.
