Description : This project is intended to retrofit obsolete Protection relays which are installed for protection of 220kV & 66kV Power Transformer in ETD HV Substations. There is a requirement to replace these relays by a modern numerical solution. EWA is satisfied with the present protection philosophy and wants to adopt it in the new proposed system. The intention is to utilize the existing protection cabinets since they are in good condition and keep cabling as far as possible unchanged to minimize the time needed for the migration to the new protection system
