Request for proposals are invited for Replacement of Edwaeni Hydro 1-Hydro 3 Electromechanical Annunciatiors with Human Machine Interface Systems (Hmis)

The main scope of the tender is as follows.
 Supply and program HMI and all interfacing units:
o System should be able to show all machine alarms (turbine bearing temperatures, machine lubrication system, cooling system) given set thresholds
o All machine trips should be flagged and the source of the trip should be recorded
o HMI should provide functionality of event logging and should be able to store at least 15 events at a given time
o Should provide standard communication protocols that will enable SCADA integration (current installed SCADA system is Allen Bradley Factory Talk Studio Edition)
o User restriction functionality
 Full installation and commissioning of HMI system and requisite interfaces
 Provide full documentation of relevant drawings and operator instruction manuals
 Provide HMI system software (NB: The financials should include, if any, the extra cost of have license for ‘developer operations-)
 Provide warranty for installed HMI system
 Provide documents/agreements on after sales services
 Provide applicable training on installed system for operators and field technicians
 Provide a clear bill of quantities for costing of equipment that will have to be procured and installed
