2 -axle tractors are used to draw the light work trains. These vehicles will gradually reach their end of technical life by 2030. The analysis has revealed that the best variant was a compact engine vehicle with 3 axles with an electric hybrid propulsion (contact line and battery). The new motor vehicles must have a power of 2.25 MW and allow a multiple traction. The objective is to replace the fleet with a new generation of motor vehicles and to put them into service in a staggered manner between 2029 and 2030. The acquisition of 8 new compact motor vehicles with modern propulsion guarantees safe, efficient, economical and sustainable exploitation for all our vehicles. The call for tenders is launched in collaboration with SPFs.
