The result of this process may inform a future procurement of portable and/or handheld biometric enrolment and verification devices that will replace the existing technologies described below. The Department makes no commitment to any future procurement as a result of this RFI. The responses to this RFI will be reviewed and analysed to assist in developing a strategy that may or may not include a future approach to market. Responses to this RFI are for information purposes only and will not be considered in the evaluation of any future market approach.
