Alberta Forestry and Parks, Parks Division (AFP) is soliciting a request for information for an Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) for our parks in the Central Alberta Region. We currently operate approximately 100 sites in Central Alberta that encompasses campgrounds and day use areas that have a mixture of fixed linear, vertical, and mobile assets ranging from water and wastewater facilities, roads, trails, parking lots, golf courses, sport fields, shops, visitor centers, vault toilets, picnic shelters, shower buildings, small equipment, vehicles, heavy equipment and much more. There is also potential to expand this system to other regions in Alberta Parks. We are looking for a robust asset management system to allow us to get the most out of our assets. Alberta Parks already has a basic asset registry housed on our in-house ESRI ArcGIS Portal. AFP doesn-t have the capacity to manage a full IT software system so a cloud-based solution that has the ability to work in our remote sites in a disconnected environment on smart phones is desirable.
