REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) : WAYFINDER NAVIGATION SYSTEM
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain a better understanding of current industry capabilities regarding indoor wayfinding navigation systems accessed via client-facing self-voicing mobile applications.
Through this RFI, Service Canada of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) is looking to gather information about indoor wayfinding navigation systems to provide customized audible informational messaging, in both Official Languages, for points of interest and decision points, for the purpose of assisting blind, deafblind and partially sighted visitors to Service Canada Centres in 57 locations across Canada.
The Department's objective is to seek a contractor that will have the capacity to maintain a wayfinding navigation system at the current sites and have the potential to expand the reach of the existing system to other sites in future.
