This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by SaskTel to prospective Suppliers to submit proposals for the provision of SaskTel EEC Controller Upgrade at 1801 Lorne Street, Regina, as further described below (the “Deliverables”): This project will upgrade the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) equipment within the Electrical Energy Center (EEC) located at 1801 Lorne St, Regina, SK. The PLC controls the automation of the electrical power and the sequence of how the 6.75MW standby generator system operates. The EEC facility is pivotal infrastructure as it accommodates the primary utility services and a backup generation system for the SaskTel Lorne St. building which encompasses both 1855 and 1825 Lorne Street. The upgrade is crucial to ensure consistent, uninterrupted electricity supply for the network equipment and data centers and to enhance power quality. Please Note: For this project, SaskTel requires all Vendors to have current COR (Certification of Recognition) or SECOR (Small Employer Certification of Recognition) safety accreditation certificate.
