Summary : Project Description: The project site contains approximately 2.3 acres of Dr. A.J. Chandler Park located at 3 S. Arizona Avenue, Chandler Arizona. The project scope of work consists of demolition of existing pavements, water features and structures, construction of new decorative hardscape plazas, relocated and new public art, extensive shade tree infrastructure including below-ground soil improvements, event lawns, seasonal plazas with social activities, seating and site furniture, park lighting, power, irrigation, and potential Wi-fi infrastructure. These improvements may include but are not limited to two large canopies flanking the Arizona Avenue crosswalk, storage rooms, one new restroom building, and three localized park shade canopies. Coordination with the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership, City of Chandler Special Events, City of Chandler Park Maintenance, and Salt River Project will be critical to the success of this project, as well as strategic construction phasing/staging to minimize impacts to the Downtown area. The estimated construction cost for this project ranges from $10 to $20 million. The CM@Risk Team is expected to provide construction work for the Project, adjacent improvements, or utility improvements, and is expected to stay within the City-s estimated budget.Scope of Work: The City of Chandler is planning to use CM@Risk for pre-construction and construction services, and will require the CM@Risk to cooperate with the Project...
