Description
This RFQ shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Formal solicitations will be executed and posted separately at a future date. The AFICC 772 ESS is interested at this point only in identifying interested and capable contractors for this work as part of the market research effort.
The Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC)/772d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (772 ESS) and Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) is seeking information from experienced DANISH OR GREENLANDIC firms to provide American Petroleum Institute (API) 653 Repairs of Four Fuel Storage Tanks at Thule Air Base, Greenland.
NAICS code for this work is 237120 Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction, PSC Z2NA, with a size standard of $45M.
Background: The plan is to perform out of service API 653 tank repairs on two tanks on the initial effort tanks 18 and 23 with an option year for tanks 27 and 28 to follow. The API inspection repair items are identical for all four tanks, and each are AST-s that have no floating roof. The refueling barge comes to Thule once per year in June to July, and repairs must be completed after refueling barge delivery in summer of 2024.
