Low Cost Unmanned Maritime Solution

PURPOSE

This special notice is to inform vendors of an upcoming RFS. This RFS will be issued to address the need of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division in support of OUSD R&E DASD P&E Maritime Domain Portfolio is seeking solutions for multi-mission operability and survivability requirements while also being capable of prescribed communication and detection methods. The Government is requesting two different low cost, unmanned maritime prototype solutions that vary in overall length and corresponding capabilities. The Government will evaluate the solutions with the intent of awarding an Other Transaction (OT) agreement in accordance with 10 U.S. Code § 4022.

BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY

Vendors interested in responding to this RFS must be members of the Expeditionary Missions Consortium - Crane (EMC2) consortium. Interested parties may visit emccrane.org for membership information. This project will be managed by a NSWC Crane Division Project Manager. The RFS is anticipated to be released via the weblink listed above for EMC2 on or around 20 November 2024. In addition to this Special Notice on SAM.gov, the EMC2 consortium manager will notify all consortium members of the upcoming RFS on or around the same time this notice is published to SAM.gov.
