Solicitation Description : Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) is soliciting bids for design and manufacturing of a thirty-five to forty-foot (35-40') aluminim or fiberglass medium deep v hull with single inboard diesel engine, or catamaran vessel powered with dual inboard diesel engines to be used as a Research Vessel. Vessel shall also be equipped with an A-frame, winch, and other required gear to collect marine samples in the near shore Gulf of Mexico and bays of the Texas Coast.
