In the medium term, Swissgrid is planning to use longer cable systems (10 km to 20 km) at the 220 Kv and 380 Kv voltage levels. After their installation, the newly built cable systems should be subjected to a voltage test on site with simultaneous partial discharge measurement. For planning Der Voltage test Swissgrid requests information, among other things, via a Request for Information (Rfi).
