1. This RFP is open to all interested vendors.2. The City of Calgary, on behalf of The Calgary Fire Department, is seeking proposals for a Utility Ensemble, comprising a Utility Garment and Utility Boot to be worn by all Operations members for multiple call types, including wildland fires, motor vehicle collisions, medical calls, investigations, etc. 3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and will not create a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.4. The Deliverables are included in two (2) Schedules: A and B.The City intends to enter into at most two (2) Agreements for the provision of the Deliverables. One (1) per Schedule.The Agreement(s) will be for an initial Term of two (2) years.The Agreement(s) may renewed three (3) times = 2 two (2) years + one (1) years for a total term of seven (7) years.
