The Corporation of the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors to collect, remove and dispose of garbage placed at the curbside by both township residents and commercial and industrial businesses within the Village of Havelock and the surrounding Township areas.
The weekly collection currently takes place within the Village of Havelock on Thursdays for residential garbage and Monday and Thursday for industrial and commercial garbage collection to coincide with curbside recycling collection. There is currently no curbside collection within the rural area outside of the Village of Havelock. Collection date(s) are to be determined by the proponent.
Proposals should include a detailed collection plan outlining collection day(s), handling, collection process, removal and disposal of garbage details for residential/commercial/industrial garbage collection.
Collection shall take place on all roads within the Township whether designated Municipal Road, County Road or Fire Route.
