The successful Proponent will work with the RM of Gimli and Committees to obtain the desired information and create the overall Trails Master Plan. This would include:• Mapping and classifying existing trails, • Conduct a robust public engagement effort to determine the wants of the community and visitors, • Identify safety issues of failing existing trail infrastructure, • Identify connectivity gaps and develop solutions, • Recommend signage and other public education tools, • Provide draft policies to manage the use of trails, • Prioritize the development of new trails based on community needs, • Provide cost estimates, and• A presentation to Council.The following documents are attached to this RFP for information for all proponents:• Gimli Waterfront Conceptual Plan• Gimli Outdoor Integrated Trail System Final Report• Active Trails Advisory Committee Action Plan• Urban Promenade Building Capacity Document• Urban Promenade Path Network Map• Interlake Snow Trackers Map• RM of Gimli Traffic Bylaw ATV Routes
