Purpose of Document The Department of Health (DOH) is currently in the process of assessing hospitals for Centers of Excellence (COEs) designation in medical and surgical specialties and is looking for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the evaluation of the hospitals. This document sets out the scope and requirements with regards to the support needed in the evaluation of the proposals received by DOH from hospitals in Abu Dhabi. This RFQ is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation by the Department of Health. Background Centers of Excellence (COEs) are healthcare facilities that are designated by DoH to provide specialized programs in particular medical areas in line with best practices and highest quality standards.
