The Town of Port Hedland is seeking a suitably qualified, skilled, and experienced contractor to undertake the daily cleaning and sanitation of Town owned and operated public open spaces though out South Hedland and Port Hedland (including Pretty Pool, Finucane Island Boat Ramp and 6 Mile). The sanitation and cleaning requirements will include but not be limited to public ablutions, BBQs, playgrounds (including equipment), graffiti, park furniture and shades, bins and surrounds, water fountains and footpaths. The contractor will also be required to collect, safely handle and dispose of syringes and potentially other hazardous materials from each of the locations that are the subject of this requirement. The intention of this requirement is to continually improve the level of service, amenity and safety of public spaces.
