This is a Sources Sought announcement and is for information/market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.

The USDA, USFS, Region 8 intends to solicit a 5-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity multiple award task order contract for road construction, maintenance and repair work. The work may include, but not be limited to the following types:

• Blading aggregate surfaced roads

• Blading native surfaced roads

• Road Surface Maintenance - Utilizing “Smoothing” (Dragging)

• Borrow delivery and placement

• Spot surface repair with crusher run aggregate

• Spot surface repair with No. 1 rock

• Spot surface repair with No. 4 rock

• Spot surface repair with screenings

• Clean and reshape ditch

• Preparation and application of seed and fertilizer

• Application of mulch

• Removal of fallen trees

• Removal of standing trees

• Dust abatement / roadway surface treatments

• Machine placed rip-rap

• Geotextile fabric

• Emergency movement of Contractor-s equipment

• Trackhoe with operator

• Backhoe with operator
