Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/SOURCES SOUGHT: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation Business Center (FPAC-BC), is seeking qualified sources that can provide and deliver the requirements described below. Please note that these requirements are not finalized and are subject to change based on the responses to this RFI/Sources Sought. The information identified below is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the products that will be satisfactory.

This RFI/Sources Sought is issued solely for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.

SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION: This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is an RFI/sources sought only. The purpose of this RFI/ Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 334511 (size standard of 1350 employees). Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses, a solicitation announcement may be published. Further, responses to this Sources Sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement.

Requirement Description:

The USDA has a requirement to acquire Leica TS13 Robotic Total Station or equivalent; Leica CS20 Field Controller or equivalent; Leica TS7 Manual Total Station or equivalent. The USDA is seeking qualified small business vendors that can provide the items listed above. See attached specifications document.
