PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL

Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is issuing this Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. There is no solicitation available at this time.

NNSY intends to award a contract to Rolls Royce Solutions America, Inc. to provide three (3) training sessions, five (5) days in duration, and eight (8) hours per day. Class hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Again, this is not a request for quotes or proposals. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit. Responses must be submitted in writing no later than 26 February 2024 by 4:30pm EST. A determination by the Government to not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery Equipment, with a size standard of $12.5 million. The PSC is U006. The Government anticipates using a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract for the required supply/service.
