Tenders are invited for Runway Pavement Surface Improvement Project - 2023 at The Palau International Airport, Republic of Palau.
THE REPUBLIC OF PALAU, BUREAU OF PUBLIC WORKS, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM (CIP) OFFICE will receive sealed bids for the RUNWAY PAVEMENT
SURFACE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT - 2023 at the Palau International Airport, Republic
of Palau.
Sealed Bids will be received as described in the contract documents until 10:00 A.M. (ROP
Time) on April 14, 2023 at the Office of the Manager, CIP Office, Bureau of Public Works
(BPW) Building, Medalaii, Koror State, Republic of Palau, at which time and place all bids will
be publicly opened and read at the CIP-s Conference Room. Bids received after the specified
time will not be considered.
A non-refundable amount of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) is required, payable to National
Treasury of Palau, as payment for each set of Bid Documents which can be obtained from the
CIP Office (Tel. (680)-488-2410/4996) in Palau.
The sureties of all bonds shall be such surety company or companies as approved by the CIP.
The bonds must be approved by CIP prior to execution of formal contract. The penal amount of
the bond shall not exceed the surety-s underwriting limit. A notarized true copy of bond with
Certificate of Authority is also required.
This Project is being funded by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under the AIP
Fund, and the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI). The contract award, if it is to be made, will be
made within ninety (90) calendar days from receipt of bids.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the BPW Conference Room at 10AM on March 14, 2023.
The government reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason and to waive any and
all imperfections, and to disregard all non-conforming or conditional bids or counter proposal
when in government-s opinion, such rejection or waiver will be in its best interest.
