Bid Synopsis: The Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Public Health (DPH), is soliciting bids for virtual data visualization training courses for Local and Tribal Health Department Staff. Data visualization is the visual presentation of data or information. The goal of data visualization is to communicate data or information clearly and effectively to public audiences. Typically, data is visualized in the form of a chart, infographic, diagram, or map. It can help both you and your audience interpret and understand data. DPH is looking for one (1) data visualization course to include two (2) virtual training sessions covering data visualization best practices for local and Tribal health department staff to be held before August 31, 2025. The first training session should provide a foundation for using best practices within data visualization - such as how to design materials for the audience, how to choose the right chart for the data, how to ensure graph accessibility, and how to use color and text hierarchies to make your message pop. The second training session should build upon the best practice theory developed in the first training session and demonstrate the practices being used by improving example works. These services, may not exceed $50, 000.00 (fifty-thousand dollars) in total.
