Helmholtz Munich has been using the SAP system with a number of modules as a central data processing system in administration since 2008. The administration consists of the areas of finance, purchasing, human resources, legal, infrastructure and digital transformationThe SAP conversion project includes around 180 employees from these departments with access to the ERP system. In particular, the core components FI, CO for finance and controlling, MM for purchasing and materials management, and HCM for human resources are used. There are also other Module for project control (PS), for budget management (PSM), for shipping (SD) application. The course organization module (LSO) has been implemented, but is currently and will no longer be used. In the finance area, an SAP add-on (xSuite) is also used for invoice processingt. The SAP Ariba add-on has also been implemented for purchasing since April 2022 and is scheduled to be supplemented by the easyBanf procurement solution in April 2024. Furthermore, a NON-SAP system is used for time management in the SAP environment. Appendix Sy provides a detailed system overviewstem overview ERP 2024.
