At the Leibniz Institute for Plant Biochemistry Halle, an international team of scientists bundles its chemical and biological expertise to decrypt the complex processes and networks that are based on the interplay of organisms with their environment. The focus is on analyzes of plant and fungal natural substances and their biological importance as well as the examination of the molecular mechanisms on which these interactions are based.

It is essential for this that our researchers in all parts of the world also study the natural framework conditions of their test objects.

As part of the digitization strategy "Saxony-Anhalt Digital 2030" (#modern networking), the Ministry of Infrastructure and Digital Funding has provided 18 different subject areas in the areas of digitally networked administration, digital innovation and digitally networked society.
