Landsvirkjun is planning on tendering for a new SCADA/EMS system for their new control center (greenfield). The tender process will be a negotiated procedure with prior call for competition and the pre-qualification phase (PQQ) will start in the middle of May 2023 and the plan is to have that phase 2-3 weeks with submission in beginning of June 2023. Landsvirkjun encourages interested parties to start gathering the official documents to confirm their payment of government taxes and employees pension funds, and annual financial statements which will be required during the PQQ. Other parts of the PQQ submission will include description of previous experience with supplying and implementing a SCADA/EMS system and confirmation of minimum requirements for the SCADA/EMS system for Landsvirkjun.
