Seeking a graphic designer to develop 2 products: Lao PDR Health National Adaptation Plan (H-NAP) for building climate resilient health systems (English version) Lao PDR Health National Adaptation Plan (H-NAP) for building climate resilient health systems (Lao version)Globally the health sector is responsible for around 4.4% of total carbon emissions.[1] Health sector carbon emissions vary by country, from a high of around 10% in the United States and 7% in Australian down to a low of around 3% in the United Kingdom.[2] As with other countries, Lao PDR-s health sector is responsibility for both direct and indirect GHG emissions. Examples of direct GHG emissions is when fossil fuels are burnt for operational transport such as ambulances or running community immunisation drives. Examples of indirect GHG emissions include energy use for heating and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals as well as transport of health care supplies)[3]. While the health sector has other environmental impacts through things such as its healthcare waste management (HCWM) practices, these are outside the scope of this project.
