Description: Work for the requested hiring department Knowledge & Advice is part of the 'Primary Support' business function of the Hollandse Delta Water Board, with an advisory role to the strategy and policy, direction and asset management and purifying and purifying departments and Maintenance. Knowledge & Advice is the expertise center of the organization and provides substantive knowledge. The senior technologist is responsible for: the supervision and reporting on (practical) investigations for process optimizations; the technological supervision of the WWTPs in the management area; the advice at environmental permits ; initiating and supporting lab, pilot and practical investigations; the technological input in new construction and renovations of WWTPs and sewerage pumping stations; the guidance and implementation of studies (internship studies, Alm Studies etc.); translating national developments, innovations and technologies into the specific water board situation; the preparation of quarterly and annual reports; the coordination with internal clients; the guidance of technologists within WSHD.
