Tender Details

The object of the procurement is the XR, metaverse and web3 partial implementations of the national XR museum project. The procurement will be carried out dynamically, and the individual partial implementations will be tendered among the suppliers selected in this procurement at a later date.

XR museum is a joint museum of Jaervenpaeae, Kerava and Tuusula museumsanke, where a fully virtual museum center is being built. In addition to the municipal museums, the private museums Ainola and Lottamuseo are included. The project has received funding from the European Union's Next Generation EU structural support. The project started in spring 2023, and the new museum will open in spring 2025.

The project alreadyhas a steering group, which consists of representatives of the participating museums and municipalities. The project is implemented by a separate project team.

XR museum consists of various XR, metaverse and web3 implementations. Most of these are browser-based, but we also do, for example, VR productions. The goal is to create an experienceand interactive ways to experience the art and culture of the region. All applications produced in the project are designed and tested together with audiences and stakeholders, and participation processes are included in all partial implementations.

So far, 360 photos have been implemented in the projectremote visits and modeled artist home Villa Kokkonen. The work includes the construction of a metaverse environment and the creation of an event space for the museum. In the future, for example, more modeling and browser and VR experiences utilizing these will be produced.
